WHO ARE WE

An identity

EAW is committed to empowering women in Africa primarily by promoting and investing in projects that process and/or market locally raw materials. We are particularly interested in initiatives developed by African female entrepreneurs living mainly in rural areas.

EAW is driven by the belief  that the success of these initiatives will bring not only personal satisfaction to the individual entrepreneurs, but will have an invaluable impact on their communities, for example, in terms of job creation.

EAW aims to be a platform for talented creative and determined women. The diverse backgrounds of its founding members will enable EAW to propose concrete and pragmatic solutions to problems encountered by the women entrepreneurs it follows. Moreover, EAW thinks its collaboration as a sharing of knowledge and experience. In fact, the association does not consider its activities as a form of assistance  but rather as a mutually enriching exchange of experience, network and knowledge.

WHERE

Africa is a continent of the future

EAW promotes projects in African and particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. The specific geographic location is not important. What matters is that EAW wants to support women with projects. However, projects in instable regions will be excluded.
